TR Electronic Releases a New Mid-Range Laser Distance Product to Complement its Industry Leading Laser Distance solutions.

The LHT 9 sensor from TR Electronic provides a new option for mid-range distance measurement applications requiring discrete or analog outputs. With exceptional color and surface independence, the LHT Laser distance sensor operates at distances up to 10m.

Thanks to their high reproducibility and accuracy, these distance sensors are used to position forklifts in high bay warehouses, control process speeds and protect against collision in overhead conveyors.

The LHT 9 complements TR’s existing laser distance products which includes short-range and long-range, high-precision lasers capable of measurement from 0 to 200m. TR’s laser based devices are also available with high-speed interfaces such as SSI or fieldbus technologies to provide the necessary response time for precision measurement. TR Electronic is a leader in the development of Industrial Ethernet laser distance products, supporting industry standards such as Ethernet/IP and ProfiNet.

For common distance measurement or positioning applications including loop control, coil diameter measurement, ASRS positioning, crane positioning and part detection TR Electronic has a laser distance solution available.
